Story

Hi there,

 

Thank you for visiting our team page!

 

We want to do our part in the fight against breast cancer. We have therefore decided to make a difference by creating our very own fundraising appeal for Dragons Abreast Australia. Our efforts don't just stop here - we will also be competing in the DAA Dragon Boat Festival so please support our efforts by making a secure donation. We are a team of new paddlers but we are determined to win and we need your encouragement to get us there! We would also really appreciate it if you could share our page above or comment below so more people know about it.

    Dragons Abreast Australia

    Dragons Abreast Australia is a national organisation comprised of breast cancer survivors (and some very special supporters) of various ages from a great variety of backgrounds, athletic abilities and interests. Dragons Abreast members provide a “face” for the breast cancer statistics whilst spreading the message of breast cancer awareness through participation in the wonderful and strenuous sport of dragon boat racing. Dragons Abreast commenced in Australia in 1998, following in the footsteps of a study by Dr Don McKenzie and a group of breast cancer survivors in Vancouver.
